After being made redundant 7 months after starting a job I thought was going to be permanent, I suddenly found myself fighting for jobs with 30+ other people applying for the same thing. Having never been out of work before in 25 years of working I assumed I would find myself straight back into a job I wanted to do. One month later and still nothing, I started to apply for anything and everything alongside the jobs I actually wanted just to get money for bills. On the 25th May I applied for a job via Frank Wills Recruitment, this job was one that stood out to me above all others and the one I really wanted, the one I could see myself staying in for the rest of my working career. I had registered with numerous recruitment agencies from being made redundant, even started temp work, my confidence was crushed with all the knock backs or no reply’s and I was starting to lose hope about being back in work; finances were extremely tight and all this combined it was a very stressful time for me and my family.<br/> Then I had a call from Caroline at Frank Wills recruitment asking me to come in on 26th May and register and also to discuss the job I had applied for further. I immediately felt at ease when I met Caroline, she was kind, friendly and professional. She offered to do something no other agency had done and that was to take a look at my cv and adapt where necessary to give it more “curb appeal”. She also went to great lengths in talking to me to make me see that I was worth a whole lot more than I thought, not just salary wise but career wise too. We discussed the job and Caroline made it very clear that she wanted me to go for this job and had every intention of putting me forward. After speaking with Caroline, my faith was restored, not only in recruitment but in myself too. I got a first Interview and a few weeks later was offered a final stage interview… I got the job and started on 21st June! It was 100% Caroline who gave me the confidence and help I needed to nail those interviews and get the job I so badly wanted.<br/> Being in the position I am now in work, going forward, I’ll only look to Frank Wills Recruitment for our recruitment needs. Whilst working in my role as an Administration Manager, I worked closely with Caroline Follows, she provided me with all the agency staff that I required. I never used any other agency whilst in the role for 4.5 years, as Caroline worked tirelessly to ensure that I had the correct member of staff for each vacancy I had.
